Land sales in Lexington have been on a steady increase throughout the year. June Office sale have been reasonably strong with more transactions than the prior three months combined.

August '09 Update

We have almost 5,000 real estate transactions in the MidlandsTrends database for 2009. While July's data is still rolling in, the Office sector is showing some activity, Land sales appear to be maintaining a steady pace. Single Family Residence dipped in May for Richland, but recovered strong in June. Also a wide variety of commercial activity occurred in June.

July '09 Update

Beginning this month we're moving to a new Year-to-Date trend format. There are now 3,443 real estate transactions in the MidlandsTrends database for 2009. That includes 230 commercial, 853 land and 2,360 single-family transactions. As of May '09 the Midlands warehouse activity bumped up with 5 new transactions, doubling the total for the year thus far. Duplex / Triplex / Quad activity remained stable with 6 to 7 transactions. All other sectors continued with intermittent activity.

Annual Trends by Industry 2008

The Annual Trends Report by Industry summarizes the real estate activity among 15 property types and is available for free download from MidlandsTrends.com. Trends of particular significance found in this report include:
